There are various state and federal air quality and emissions regulations that apply to non-road diesel stationary engines used in land-based applications such as construction, agricultural, and industrial equipment. These regulations are meant to reduce the emissions of toxic air pollutants that are known or suspected of causing cancer and other serious health problems.
